Ghanaian cocoa.

An independent London-based cocoa merchant, sourcing directly from Ghana for European confectionery and ingredient manufacturers.

Origin

Ghana.

Ghana is the world's second-largest cocoa producer, and the Ghanaian bean carries one of the strongest quality reputations in the global trade. Export sacks are sealed by the Quality Control Company of the Ghana Cocoa Board following grading for bean count, fermentation and moisture content.

Sourcing covers main-crop and mid-crop volumes from the Western, Western North, Ashanti, Ahafo and Eastern regions, drawn through licensed buying companies and farmer cooperatives.

Due Diligence.

Geolocation data is collected at plot level and held alongside cooperative records for the lifetime of each commercial relationship. Polygons are validated against the 31 December 2020 cut-off date before lots are committed forward. Voluntary certification, where available, is treated as complementary to — and never a substitute for — operator-led due diligence under the Regulation.
